The conference was held in Volunteer Place, a beautiful 80 year old hall in Ottawa, Canada, with chairs around round tables that encouraged discussion.

There were several panels of distinguished speakers on the different themes of the conference.

The diverse audience represented many countries, ages and backgrounds
There were many opportunities for discussions and networking.
There were also workshops for smaller group discussions.
Among the organizers were Duncan Hanks of the Canadian Baha'i Community and Sylvia Karlsson of the International Environment Forum (with the conference photographer).
Many volunteers helped with the video recording, website and summaries of the sessions for the e-conference.
Saturday evening there was a public event in a larger hall with music and educational theatre
The Otesha youth theatre group performed
Faith and the Common Good presented awards to local religious organizations for environmental actions
including the Ottawa Baha'i Centre
After the conference, some IEF members went for a walk in the woods
