In this section of the page, I will look at the non-human-made surroundings and conditions in which all living and non-living things exist on Earth. To begin with, Lets look at the Natural environment which encompasses two different components: 1. Ecological units that operate as natural systems (such as soil, vegetation and so on). 2. Universal natural resources (such as air and water). Environmental modelling involves the application of multidisciplinary knowledge to explain, explore and predict the Earth’s response to environmental change, both natural and human-induced.
