Climate justice

Dear Environmental Advocates,

My name is Salahuddeen Mohammed Shitu, and I am an independent consultant on environmental sustainability at Luqknigh Ltd. Over the years, I have been closely involved in promoting practices that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve waste management, and foster sustainable development across communities.

I am reaching out to this esteemed forum to discuss the urgent need for climate justice and to seek guidance and resources to create awareness programs for primary schools, secondary schools, and higher education institutions. The goal is to establish environmental clubs where students can actively participate in tree planting, smart farming initiatives using organic fertilizers, and other sustainability projects.

Beyond schools, I aim to engage local communities to embrace practices that ensure a  sustainable future, including environmentally conscious agriculture, renewable energy adoption, and responsible waste management. I believe that equipping the younger generation and community members with the knowledge and tools for environmental stewardship is critical to addressing climate change and promoting climate justice.

I would greatly appreciate any educational materials, frameworks, or successful case studies from other countries or organizations that can guide the creation of these programs. Collaboration, shared knowledge, and community engagement are essential to achieving meaningful impact, and I am eager to learn from the collective expertise in this forum.

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals who are passionate about creating a greener, sustainable, and climate-just future.

Warm regards,

Salahuddeen Mohammed Shitu
